About Sarbojit
I have been playing competitive chess since **2000** and have remained an active tournament player throughout my career. During this time, I have defeated several **International Masters (IMs)** and secured numerous draws against strong IMs in classical events. My practical tournament experience enables me to teach real-game decision-making and competitive strategies. I regularly analyze my own games and enjoy sharing my best attacking victories with students, helping them understand tactical concepts, calculation, and the mindset required to succeed in over-the-board chess.

# **Train with FIDE-Rated Chess Coach Sarbajit Adhikary**
I am **Sarbajit Adhikary**, a **FIDE-rated chess coach** with a **peak FIDE rating of 2068** and **more than 25 years of coaching experience**. Over the years, I have had the privilege of coaching several players who have gone on to earn **International Master (IM)** and **Grandmaster (GM)** titles, while many others are currently aspiring to achieve these milestones.
My coaching philosophy focuses on developing **sharp tactical vision, creativity, and practical decision-making**, enabling students to thrive in today's engine-driven chess world. I have built an extensive collection of high-quality training materials over the years, which I use to create structured, personalized lessons that help students improve consistently.
I believe in maintaining a friendly and supportive learning environment. Beyond regular classes, I am always available to clear my students' doubts through phone calls whenever they need guidance. My goal is to ensure continuous learning and steady progress.
I coach dedicated and serious students ranging from **unrated beginners to approximately 2100 FIDE rating**.
