About Logan
As a chess tutor, I bring a motivational and encouraging approach to every session. I believe in helping students build confidence and enthusiasm for the game. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve, I’ll support and cheer you on every step of the way.
My teaching style is organized and structured to ensure effective learning. Each lesson is carefully planned to cover key concepts and strategies, and I provide clear guidance on how to apply them in practice. I make sure that every session builds on the previous one, so you see continuous improvement.

In my chess sessions, I use real-life examples and case studies to make learning engaging and practical. By analyzing famous games and strategies, students can see how advanced players think and adapt these lessons to their own games.
My coaching covers a wide range of topics to ensure comprehensive skill development. Some key areas include opening strategies, middle game tactics, endgame techniques, pawn structures, positional play, calculating variations, time management, opening traps, defense mechanisms, and common mistakes.
Each session is structured and organized to maximize learning. We start with a review of previous material, followed by new concepts and practical exercises. Homework is assigned to reinforce lessons, and we regularly assess progress to tailor future sessions.
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, my methodical approach ensures that you build a strong foundation and advanced strategies. Together, we’ll work through structured lessons and strategic practice to help you excel in chess.
