About Amia

I was an AP student in english, spanish, biology, world history and US history in highschool and graduated Top 6% in my class. I love to read in my freetime and sew! I was a freshman mentor and I also have experience tutoring middle school students.

About the lesson

First and foremost, I ask the student how they best retain knowledge, whether it be visually, hands on, etc. I would begin by giving the student a pre-assessment in the subject so I will be able to discern which concepts need the most improvement. From there, we will work on each concept in different sections to breakdown the material. Before moving on to the next concept, I will make sure the student has a clear understanding of the previous material.
