About Thom

I'm an architectural Assistant in training. I'm in my final year of Master's of architecture at the University of Westminster. I've had 1 on 1 tutorials in the past for students in need of some help to achieve the illustrations and representations they were striving for in their studies.

About the lesson

As a tutor/student helper, I have tutored Ba students in architecture and individuals interested in joining an architecture course.
The first lesson offered is a chance for the potential student to explain their aims and aspiration for the lessons. My broad knowledge of software packages allows me to be well equipped in recommending the best software to learn for certain tasks.
Through a few questions and sometimes tests, if the student is of an advanced level, we will find out your exact level in the domain you are looking to improve. This allows me to tailor a specific methodology to the students needs to achieve the results envisioned in the least amount of time.
I like to point out that the first lesson is also an opportunity to see if our personalities will fit, I encourage students to be honest about how they feel. The first lesson, and actually all the ones following, are no strings attached. If you feel at some point anything doesn't work out then let me know. Feedback is highly valuable in my teaching process.

Perfect! Absolutely highly recommend Thomas. His patient, knowledge, flexibility and honesty are top of the top. He helped me to deliver 2 assignments for my post graduate diploma in Interior designer. I was struggling in Sketch Up and he helped me to fight my insecurities in using this software beside deliver of course high class assignments.

I have now had several classes teaching Olivia SketchUp. She's been amazing to work with. As well as being very easy to talk to she has proven to be a very good listener and I feel she has progressed hugely since we started working together.
I always look forward to our sessions as we have fun and also progress a lot during them.

Perfect! Thom is a great instructor - patient and encouraging. He really took the time to understand what I was looking to get out of the software and has tailored the sessions to meet my individual needs. It's a real joy to be learning and having fun at the same time.

I now have had several tutorials with Shola, and she has been a great student!

I feel she has listened attentively and taken notes regularly, which has helped her progress very fast in Illustrator. It's always a pleasure to meet up with her. Shola's enthusiasm and good spirit have meant that we have had great exchanges during lessons.

I have even learned a bit myself during our Lessons. I look forward to giving more lessons with her.
