About Jordan

My experience as a business owner, working on film sets and editorial photoshoots has exposed me to a wide range of professional environments where I have developed a strong sense of professionalism. As a teacher, I would be able to model these behaviours for my students, including punctuality, attention to detail, and respect for others. My ability to work collaboratively with other professionals in the industry and maintain a high standard of work would also be invaluable in helping my students learn the importance of professionalism and how to conduct themselves in a professional setting. Additionally, my experience working with clients and running my own business taught me the importance of clear communication, organization, and customer service, all of which are key elements of professionalism in the makeup, nail, and hair artist industry. With my approach, I will be able to provide a strong example for students to follow and help them succeed in their careers.

About the lesson

As someone who has owned a business as a nail technician and makeup artist, attended Sheridan College and graduated from the Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program, and worked on over 100 clients, as well as film sets and editorial photoshoots, I have a wealth of experience that makes you an excellent candidate for a teaching position in the makeup, nail, and hair artist industry. My firsthand experience in the industry has given me a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed as a makeup, nail, and hair artist, and I have honed my skills through countless hours of practice and work with clients. With my diverse experience and strong work ethic, I would undoubtedly make an outstanding teacher who can impart my knowledge and expertise to aspiring makeup, nail, and hair artists, helping them achieve their own success in the industry.
