About Simona

I am a teacher of Italian, Latin and Greek, with experience in both public and private fields.
I attended high school, immediately after graduation but I devoted myself to studies that in reality did not really interest me ... I I therefore decided to study what really gratified me, which I found "familiar" and I graduated in Classics.
By studying I acquired the so-called "study method" a sort of universal key capable of opening any door !!
And I assure you I am not referring only to Latin or Greek but to ALL disciplines !! [N ] I'll give you an example: I've never been particularly "brilliant" in scientific subjects ... well, as I studied Latin and Greek, I began to understand some logical mechanisms that, for years, had driven me crazy, mind you, I have not magically transformed into Archimedes or Pythagoras! But I managed to grasp those logical connections that simplified the
operations and finally led to the solution of the problem !!
Imagine what a satisfaction!
Today I would like to be able to offer this "magic key" to students who want to start this
path together. Why? Well, because if it has been rewarding to reach a personal goal ... helping someone to
reach the same goal or an even greater one is definitely a greater gratification !!

Often the subject is associated with the teacher and ... let's face it the Latin and Greek teacher, usually he is not really a reassuring figure but if he becomes a welcoming figure, capable of accompanying in the discovery of the method used by the most illustrious figures of literature ... the subject changes!
The first approach is certainly the most important but important does not mean complex indeed!
Just like a child who, before starting to take his first steps, begins to crawl, then slowly acquires balance and confidence and, finally, is able to walk on his own legs, so we will face the world of the classics together.
We will start by reading aloud and articulating the terms and accents well, then "putting in construction "the sentence or rather giving it a complete meaning with a subject, a predicate and a complement
or any other complements, in this way we will begin to familiarize ourselves with the matter, slowly we will discover that it is not as difficult as always bra indeed is less complex than it may appear at first impression!
According to my personal experience, when it comes to a single and frontal lesson, the student must necessarily focus all his attention on what is being said [N ] by the teacher and, since these are subjects usually considered demanding and boring, if I should notice a so-called
"decrease in attention" on the part of the student, we move on to slightly more discursive topics, always inherent to the subject studied , curiosities about the author, small anecdotes ... in order to allow the student to catch his breath and draw attention to the subject.
I usually give lessons to pupils whose age range is between 14 and 18 years old, but I also taught students about to graduate and university students in view of an exam.
I'm sure that, by tackling this path together, it will become much less heavy
Let's start the discovery together of this m so that even today it is hostile and unknown and we will discover the hidden potential that it reserves for us!
It will be amazing to discover the resources that our most famous authors had and that they can transfer !!
