About the lesson

Our accent will define us, elocution and the way we speak will influence our life, and public speaking can be traumatic, but with the right guidance and practice we will soon have you aching to be in the limelight, then see how speech changes lives. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Elocution, Public Speaking and accent reduction, both as 1:1 coaching and in small groups. - Tell me about your qualifications. ALAM -Trained in 1983, at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, also gold medallist in verse speaking and prose with honours. - How much do you charge? One to one is from £40/hour, travelling will be charged depending on distance, if I am required to come to you. Group rates and block bookings arranged by negotiation. - Where do you teach? Teach worldwide as all lessons are online at present. - When are you available? Available any time by appointment. - Which ages and levels do you teach? Ages from 7 to 80 - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? Lamda - speaking in public - if required. - Describe your arrangements for online tutoring. With improved internet speeds Skype is now a useful option and can be very successful. We can discuss requirements online, but the nature of the subject can require personal intervention! - Do you have a personal message for students? The way you speak has the ability to change your life and I am in the business of changing lives!

Perfect! This is based on our first lesson.

Luke is a great teacher. He gave a very helpful overview of what makes a great public speaker, before focusing in on where I could improve. I have booked another session with him, and look forward to building up my skill-set with him.

English is not my native language and after moving to the UK from Russia I was facing big problems with public speaking.
Thanks to Luke I've improved significantly. We were practicing various kind of speeches, presentation styles, questions & answers sessions, introductions to the public, poetry, and accent reduction exercises. After a couple of months colleagues started to give me complements.
I would highly recommend Luke to anyone wanting to improve their communication in English.
