I’m Luca, a second year as a Philosophy and Literature student at the University of Warwick tutoring English literature, language (up to GCSE) and philosophy at all levels.

About Luca
Before going to university, I studied at Reading School, one of the most prestigious grammar schools in the country, and a consistently top-10 nationally ranked institution. There, I achieved a mixture of 7s, 8s, and 9s at GCSE, and studied English Literature, History, and Philosophy at A-Level. I achieved A’s in all three subjects. At Reading School, I participated in the Future Stories Programme, remotely mentoring KS2 and early KS3 children with the intention of taking the 11+ exam, which I myself scored highly on to secure my place at Reading School. My experience and comfort in this role have helped tune my dedicated and individualised approach to tutoring.

I can provide English Literature tutoring at the KS3, 11+, GCSE, and A-Level specifications, as well as additional A-Level tutoring for Philosophy. Furthermore, I provide English Language tutoring at the KS3, 11+, and GCSE levels. I also offer Personal Statement guidance. My background in essay-focused subjects has honed my critical writing skills, and I am comfortable teaching and dissecting a variety of different essay styles and topics. My studies at university have further broadened my ability to analyse text and craft suitable responses, and I can provide feedback and advice for all manner of essays with a variety of specific aims. I take pride in personalising my approach to each student, and feel confident in my ability to contribute to their success in whichever academic endeavour they pursue.
