About Maria
I am a dedicated tutor with a background in Economics and Politics and 2 years of experience teaching A-Level/IB Politics, Maths, Economics.
Having received very little help during my IB journey, I wish to democratise the process of receiving top scores through accessible and flexible tutoring. Via this independent journey, I learnt what makes a good exam paper, and how to discover what study techniques work for which purposes.
I enjoy helping students build academic confidence after mastering challenging concepts, tailoring my teaching to each individual's learning style, schedules, and goals!

With a degree in Politics and Economics, 44/45 in the IB, and 2 years of tutoring experience, I use analogy and visual techniques to simplify complex concepts and enhance understanding. I will help you learn the structure and techniques needed to excel in your papers.
