About Mayra
Hey!! My name is Mayra!
I'm from Slovakia, though I've spent most of my life now living all around the UK; first Cardiff, then Bristol. Right now, I find myself in my penultimate year of Law at the London School of Economics.
Though I aspire to work in EU Law or academia, I intend to spend the few years after my graduation in full-time travel. Solo-travelling, recently became a huge passion of mine. I would love nothing more than to go back and actually explore Central and South America in their entirety.
I've been a bit of a language nerd my whole life; learning both French and Spanish at a GCSE and International Baccalaureate level. Now I plan to get back into both and truly master my fluency.
I honestly can't wait to meet you all and help you either discover or nurture your love for languages!

Mayra is great at explaining complicated topics in terms that anyone can understand and most importantly reproduce during exams. She does this by being friendly, caring and a ball of energy tailoring lessons to her students. Studying together with Mayra through a mixture of explaining, and model answers to past papers questions I was able to get my best grade to date.
