About Ray
Ray graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with an MA in 2015, under the direction of Margaret Faultless and Nicolette Moonen. He holds his Licentiate Diploma from the Royal Academy in string teaching (2017) and his Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (2021). Ray teaches privately in Chichester and London with the London String Academy and has performed with his trio and string quartet in various prestigious locations across the UK and Europe. Ray is currently in his final stages of his PhD in Music at the University of Chichester (submitted 2026).

I offer personalised violin and viola tuition tailored to each student's individual goals and learning style. Drawing on LRAM training and varied pedagogical backgrounds, lessons aim to be enjoyable and engaging while maintaining a strong focus on technical progress. Whether preparing for exams, an audition, returning after a break, or playing for pure enjoyment — all ages and levels welcome.
