About Prerna
I’m someone who believes that knowledge holds no real power until it’s shared. As a lifelong learner with a background in biotechnology, leadership, and research analysis, I’ve always found meaning not just in what I learn — but in how I pass that learning on to others. Whether I’m leading a team, organizing events, or analyzing complex data, I’m constantly driven by the desire to simplify, explain, and empower. My passion for teaching comes from experience — both as a student who valued approachable mentors, and as a leader who witnessed the transformation that happens when people are truly understood and guided. I’ve seen that knowledge isn’t just information; it’s a bridge between people, perspectives, and possibilities. I want to teach because I don’t just want to inform — I want to inspire. I want to help others see the “why” behind what they learn. I believe in creating environments where asking questions is more important than getting everything right, and where curiosity is nurtured, not judged. Sharing knowledge, to me, is the most human way of leaving an impact — it multiplies with every person who learns and grows from it.

My teaching approach would stand apart through a combination of empathy-driven mentorship, interdisciplinary integration, and outcome-based learning. I believe that teaching is not just about delivering content, but about inspiring curiosity, building critical thinking, and empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey.
Unlike conventional, one-directional methods, my teaching would focus on interactive engagement. I would incorporate real-world case studies, simulations, and collaborative projects to help students apply concepts practically and creatively. Whether it’s through debates, role plays, or problem-solving sessions, I would ensure every learner is not just a listener but a contributor.
Furthermore, I would emphasize personalized learning — identifying students’ strengths and challenges early on and adapting content and mentoring styles accordingly. By blending technology with teaching, such as using Notion for course tracking, live quizzes, and multimedia content, I’d make learning more accessible and dynamic.
Finally, what would truly differentiate my teaching is the relationship I build with students — one rooted in trust, open communication, and continuous feedback. I aim to be not just a teacher but a guide who encourages curiosity beyond the syllabus, values questions more than answers, and prepares students to thrive beyond the classroom.
