About Shirrell
I am currently a 24-year-old high school English Language Arts teacher with a Master’s degree in Education Leadership. I have experience teaching from grades K through 12 in a variety of concepts, specifically English language arts. I am able to help with a wide range of skill sets and understanding levels. I believe that all students are able to be taught, as long as the educator is willing to be flexible and understand the ways that each individual child can be supported and successful.

I am extremely passionate about teaching students how to best formulate their words, both verbally, academically, and through composition. As a student who used to struggle in English language arts, I understand that finding the right person to articulate the concepts of English language arts is sometimes hard, but as a teacher of the skill currently, I believe I have learned how to best teach these things while making them stick and having fun!
