About Alex
I started my singing journey as a child in musical theatre. I had NO idea what I was doing. I didn’t like singing and I didn’t care if I became a singer. In high school I auditioned for a musical and was brought into a glee club and eventually, random enough, a barbershop quartet. This started my journey as the kid who couldn’t sing to a vocal coach, a full time entertainer, as a vocalist for an amusement park, A musical theatre performer, A world champion chorus singer. I’m here to tell you that YOU CAN SING! It’s not magic and over night, but I can help you achieve your dreams and help pave the way for your own journey.

Every lesson is different for every student because we all are starting from different places. I use my first lesson as an assessment so that I can see where you are in your journey. From there we will focus on warm ups and songs specific to your voice and your preferred genre of music. I will usually spend the first quarter of the lesson to focus on the warm ups as these are most important for changing your voice. Then we will use the warm ups and exercises learned to deal with any lack of consistency within the voice. All while having a fun time and keeping the environment relaxed and supportive.
