About Phineas
I’ve been playing guitar for 12 years now. I started in a place called the Paul Green Rock Academy in upstate New York. There I learned the skill of playing by ear, we would be given 5-7 songs every show and would have to learn them all by ear. This really shaped my understanding of learning music. I was never taught classical methods such as reading music so if that is what you are looking for I will not be the teacher for you. On the other hand if you’d like to be able to play a song and figure it out in a couple minutes I’m your guy. Music is a vast language and there are lots of ways to communicate.
