Ikenna Odemelam
Freelance recording artist & producer
Currently in my last year studying Music Production and Sound Engineering at Point Blank Music School. Passionate about music, started singing at an early age. Begun playing classical piano in year 7. Became a singer and songwriter for a hiphop/R&B collective in school. Moved to the UK for A levels, switched to jazz piano and began producing for myself with Logic. As a general music nerd I’ve been the go to student for music tasks throughout my education, from playing in church in Nigeria to Chapel in the UK and performing as part of plays, soul and funk bands, jazz bands etc. Studied Media production and received a diploma, have been an independent upcoming hiphop/Afrobeats artist since 2016.

A passionate pianist is a good pianist, I aim to develop a natural love for the instrument by teaching my students the songs they already like and listen to, along side the technical and theoretical stuff they aspire to learn and or achieve.
