About Colleen
I'm a recent graduate of the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, where I completed a Bachelor of Music in Performance, Summa Cum Laude with distinction in the major. I have been playing the flute for over 12 years, and fall in love with the instrument more every day. I'm currently working on a Master of Music in Performance at UNCG.

My approach to teaching lessons is very positive, with care to make sure no student associates their self-worth with their instrument. Mistakes are how we learn! I can meet students at any level to help them improve on their flute playing and overall musical skill. I've taught 6-year-olds to retirees! The key to connecting with students: let their interests lead the way!
