My teaching methods are variable based on the level of my pupil's experiences on an individual by individual basis. For a beginner, I'd usually begin teaching the foundations behind the guitar notations, the tuning of the guitar and the open chords. Once they've mastered this we move onto scales and arpeggios, then more complex stuff.
