About Hailee

Hi, I’m Hailee—a licensed Special Education teacher with a strong background in teaching reading, writing, and math. I create a safe, supportive space where students feel empowered to learn. My professional, student-centered approach builds confidence, independence, and long-term academic success.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, supportive, and deeply personalized. I focus on creating a learning environment where students feel safe, encouraged, and capable. My teaching method involves breaking down complex concepts in reading, writing, and math into manageable steps, using visual supports, guided practice, and real-life connections to reinforce understanding. I incorporate multi-sensory strategies and adjust pacing and instruction based on each student's individual learning profile.

A typical lesson begins with a quick warm-up to activate prior knowledge, followed by focused instruction on a specific skill or concept. We then move into guided practice, where I support the student in applying the new skill. Lessons end with a short review and a confidence-building reflection on progress.

What sets me apart is my genuine passion for empowering students, especially those with learning differences. As a licensed Special Education teacher, I bring both expertise and heart to my work. I strive to help students believe in themselves, understand their strengths, and develop tools for lifelong learning.

These lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students who need extra support in literacy and math—whether they have an IEP, are struggling academically, or simply need a confidence boost. My goal is to meet students where they are and help them move forward with purpose and pride.
