Professionalism also entails staying current with educational best practices and continuously seeking opportunities for professional development to enhance teaching skills and strategies. It involves employing evidence-based instructional methods tailored to individual student needs, while also promoting critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning.

Furthermore, professionalism in teaching elementary students involves demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding, as well as effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive and positive learning atmosphere.
