About Addison
Hi! I’m Addy. I’m a 17-year-old senior currently enrolled in a nail technician certification program at my school!
Between balancing beauty school, running my own business, and managing my busy routine (plus being an army girlfriend to my boyfriend Logan and having a twin!), I totally get how crazy high school and career prep can be.
Because I am actively going through nail tech school right now, all of the state board theory, sanitation rules, nail diseases, and hands-on skills are super fresh in my mind. I know how overwhelming all the medical terms and state board guidelines can feel when you're reading a textbook, so my goal is to make learning it simple, fun, and super low stress!
Whether you're studying to pass your theory exams or just want to learn how to do cute nail sets, I'm here to be your study buddy and helper

As a nail tech student actively in certification training, all the theory, safety standards, and practical skills are super fresh in my head. i break down complex topics into simple, easy to remember study guides so you can feel 100% confident for your exams and clients.
what we can cover in our sessions:
• Nail Diseases & Disorders: clear breakdowns of bacterial infections, fungus, nail disorders, how to avoid them, and when to refuse service (crucial for state board!).
• Sanitation, Disinfection & Safety: proper EPA disinfectant steps, autoclave protocols, SDS sheets, and state board compliance.
• Anatomy & Physiology: nail unit anatomy (matrix, eponychium, hyponychium), bone structure, and skin layers simplified.
• Practical Application & Prep: natural nail prep for long retention, gel-x application, cuticle care, and beginner to advanced nail art techniques.
• State Board Theory Prep: practice quizzes, flashcard strategies, and test taking tricks to help you pass on the first try!
