About Dori
I am a friendly, energetic tutor who works around conversation and engaging my students through discussion to make them truly passionate about literature, language and reading.
I am very passionate about the subject myself; was interviewed to read English at Cambridge (I chose to do a different degree instead!).
I am also open to teaching Geography up to A-level, as I am very interested in the subject; currently have a pupil I am teaching who can provide a testimonial.

Lessons can be tailored/designed towards ability, age and requirements. I have a year's experience teaching 7-year-olds English, but have also done informal teaching/tutoring up to GCSE.
Slow-paced, active and engaging sessions that prompt thought and discussion about texts, or essay technique and/or refinement if needed.
I achieved A*'s in both literature and language at GCSE, and am currently sitting A-level literature (predicted A).
