About George
Hi — I’m a sixth-form student and a GCSE Business & Economics tutor. I’m predicted A* A* A* at A-level and achieved strong GCSE results, so I know the specification and what top exam answers look like. I regularly teach students at my sixth form and enjoy turning confusion about exams into clear, repeatable techniques.
Why I teach
• I’m an aspiring apprentice in the finance industry, so I want to help other students reach the grades and practical skills that open doors to apprenticeships and careers in finance.
• I enjoy demystifying exams: showing exactly how marks are won, practising under timed conditions, and helping students build the confidence to apply what they know in real test situations.
• Teaching keeps my own knowledge sharp and lets me give practical, exam-relevant guidance that’s grounded in current classroom expectations.
What I bring to lessons
• Clear exam focus (past papers, mark schemes, model answers) and active recall techniques to boost memory.
• Practical tips on timing, structuring answers and using evidence to hit top marks.
• Experience tutoring fellow sixth-form students — I understand common mistakes and how to fix them quickly.
Lessons: 1–2 hours, for GCSE Business & Economics students aiming for high grades and real exam confidence.
