About Georgina

I'm a first-year social science student at Manchester who just finished A-levels. I have really enjoyed helping other students with their courses and seeing their positive outcomes and now I'm at uni I'd love to continue this.

I achieved A* grades in A-level Psychology (AQA), RS (AQA), and Politics (Edexcel) this year (coming out with the highest marks my college had seen in some of my papers and overall marks, as well as work over the 2 years, including a 100% in the RS synoptic paper and essays in Psychology and Politics) and got an A* in EPQ - that to say that I while I enjoy and work super hard in my studies, I have an aptitude that I am beyond happy to share.

At GCSE I achieved eight 9s (across iGCSE English Language and Literature - scoring 100% across my coursework and in the lit papers - Maths, Combined Science, RS, Drama and Art) and an 8 (German) and so am also prepared to lend a hand in these subjects (especially in RS, English and Drama written) too.

I believe that there is always another approach to take in explanation and learning that can help someone understand subjects in their own way and I'd love to help someone in theirs.

About the lesson

Prepped with approaches based around essay plans, mindmapping/visual methods, going through notes and studying/writing essays - while also able to work to other learning styles - I can provide 30-90 minute tutorials on liberal arts/social science subjects for GCSE and A-level, and across primary-level subjects.

Having tutored other students at GCSE and A-level, I greatly enjoy the experience of helping others improve their understanding and delivery of ideas.
