About Henry
Hi! I’m a Politics undergraduate at the University of Sheffield. Not too long ago, I was exactly where you are now—staring at complex mark schemes and wondering how to turn a mountain of political facts into a Grade A essay. I understand how you feel, I'm still 18 so it wasn't long ago I was in your position: anxious, overwhelmed and looking for exams to be over so I could go and do things I love!
I get you, academics do take the fun out of subjects sometimes. But I guarantee that won't happen with my tutoring. I love to chat, I'm big into the gym, and enjoying university: I will make sure you get work done but enable it to be enjoyable too.

As an undergraduate that achieved grade A politics at A level, and now studies politics at a top Russell Group I know the importance of structure, methodology and examples.
My tutoring based on contemporary examples, the counter argument first method as well as teaching of key concepts to ensure real world applied understanding will allow you to hit Level 5 essays. Exam technique will be a focus if requested and once the knowledge basis is secured, I will walk you patiently through essays and source based questions to ensure you understand how to work through these. I'm familiar with Edexcel exam structure, but can teach AQA too.
I will also supply my students with A grade 'cheat sheets' which are flexible essay plans I, myself used in order to answer any questions on specific topics as well as niche topic like 'Political Ideas' where I can teach Conservatism, Liberalism, Socialism and Nationalism in great detail.
