About Aarthi
Hi! I’m Aarthi, someone who grew up speaking Tamil at home and realizing how beautiful the language is when it’s taught with patience and heart. I want to teach Tamil because I’ve seen how many students feel disconnected from it, not because they’re weak, but because they never had someone who could explain it in a way that feels natural, relatable, and safe. For me, teaching Tamil isn’t just about grammar or exams but it’s about helping students understand a language that carries emotion, humor, and identity. I love creating a space where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and slowly building confidence. I want every student I teach to feel seen, supported, and encouraged, the way I wish I had when I was learning.

Hi! I’m Aarthi, an NJC graduate who’s genuinely passionate about keeping Tamil alive, relevant, and fun for students. I know a lot of people struggle with Tamil because it feels “hard,” “boring,” or “too formal,” but I want to change that. I teach in a way that makes Tamil feel approachable such as breaking things down simply, using real-life examples, and helping students build confidence without fear of being judged.
I’m patient, I explain concepts clearly, and I really care about helping students connect with the language in a way that feels natural. Whether they want to improve writing, speaking, or just stop dreading Tamil lessons, I create a safe, encouraging space where they can learn at their own pace.
