About Oliver
Hi, I’m Oliver! I’m a French national and have recently completed my A-levels, including French. Having grown up with a strong connection to the French language, I can help students develop more natural and confident conversational French.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I understand that speaking another language can sometimes feel intimidating. My aim is to create relaxed lessons where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes and gradually improving their fluency, pronunciation and vocabulary.

I focus on making French conversation feel natural, relaxed and enjoyable. My lessons are designed to help students build confidence when speaking and become more comfortable using French in real conversations.
Lessons will include conversation practice, pronunciation, useful vocabulary, common expressions and corrections of mistakes. We can discuss different topics depending on your interests and goals, while gradually introducing new vocabulary and more advanced phrases.
For GCSE students, I can also focus on GCSE speaking topics and exam-style questions, helping you practise giving longer, more confident answers.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for anyone wanting to improve their conversational French, particularly GCSE students and beginners/intermediate learners.
