Super Tutor

Ollie is one of our best French tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Ollie

Bonjour! I am an A-Level French student who is motivated and highly achieving. My journey with the French language truly sparked a few years ago, fuelled by a passion to connect with more people. Being a natural English speaker, I've taken a "by the book" approach to learning French, leading to a strong understanding of grammar. Alongside my experiences in France, this thorough method has given me a powerful fusion of textbook knowledge and conversational fluency to help you begin your journey. I have recently received my GCSE qualifications, where I achieved a Grade 9 in French (equivalent to A*), dropping only two marks out of a possible 240.

About the lesson

Our lessons will be adapted and shaped around your desires or weaknesses in the French language. We can begin by setting goals on what we would like to focus on, or can take a broader 'cover-all-the-bases' approach which I recommend to new learners. Whether you're grappling with grammar or hoping to one day blend in as a local, I'm committed to helping you achieve your French language goals with both clarity and enjoyment. I'm excited to meet you and to help you begin your language-learning journey. Don't hesitate to contact me!

Perfect! Perfect! Ollie teaches French grammar and vocabulary in a fun way that is easy for my son to understand. Ollie is exceptionally patient and takes the time to ensure that my son fully grasps the material before moving on. He adapts his teaching style to my son's learning needs in school, which builds his confidence and improves his French significantly. Ollie is always prompt and reliable, and plans interactive fun lessons and my son is always looking forward to their next lesson. I highly recommend this tutor to anyone looking to improve their French language skills or to learn a language from scratch. Ollie is a brilliant teacher!

Ollie is a superb teacher, who has helped me greatly during school. I sit next to him during maths, and he has helped me understand and complete every work I haven’t grasped. He has helped me massively throughout other subjects as well, and has helped me achieve higher grades than what is expected of me. I would recommend him highly for anyone who needs a good tutor.
