About Benjamin
I am a 21 year old 3rd year student at University of Auckland. I study History and Asian Studies, and love to teach students the French language.
I used to live in France, South-Western region, from the age of 8 to 18, therefore did primary school, middle school and high school all in France. I took the language and culture, and although I returned to NZ for University, France remains a part of home for me.
I have done tutoring in the past, as well as being a Teacher-Aid for l'Étoile du Nord (French speaking department) helping pupils around the age of 5 and 6.
I am patient and do not want an environment of rushed work, and will happily focus on something with which the student is struggling.

My approach is very personalised and dependent on the students' needs. I customise to the student's interests and focus on the little victories. I try to make the lesson lively and interesting, and as language should be, I ensure that there is energy in learning the language.
