About Gerard
I have been creating iOS apps for the past 5 years, so my main language I enjoy teaching is Swift. Though lately, I have been going through Python and studied Jython in university, and it is a cross-platform (PC/Mac) language. I have a few apps also on the PlayStore, so I am comfortable to get you going with Android Studio, which is also cross-platform.

First we will need to discover what level you are. I will give you some challenges and see if you can complete them. If you're a total beginner don't worry we will learn the basics to get you up and running in no time. I teach by making fun games and programs.
I enjoy teaching and I'm always trying to make it as easy as possible for you to learn new ideas as quickly as possible.

Perfect! Gerard has made what is an incredibly difficult task of teaching code to someone completely new to programming. He is also calm, patient and will work with you with things you don't understand.
Excellent tutor, thank you!- Matt is quick to pick up new concepts and how to use new IDE software.Gerard's response :
