• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  That was when I was about 8 or 9 years old, MSX computer where we had to use a TV connected to the computer and cassette with digital information recorded on it, i remember i used to do some code in Basic, playing with visual shapes using circle and draw commands, it was i think the beginning of an era.

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  Internet, from the first moment I saw internet and was able to browse and interact with websites and online services I knew that Internet was such a powerful tool, this was in my case around 1996, created my first email in Yahoo and Hotmail for Chat as well, was able to explore the world in a few clicks and felt like being in front of the biggest library in the history of mankind. I think a turning point on Internet massive use and accessibility will be a great new thing, if they allow for free connection from any place on earth using satellites, and being able to connect using your regular smartphone.

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  Ever since I saw and tried the Internet I wanted to be a part of it, but not as a consumer only, I also wanted to contribute and be able to create websites and web apps, and be around computers to be able to create and provide professional and awesome tools for the web. I also like to teach online, Web Development, Digital Marketing, SEO, and Superprof offers a great channel for this matter.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  What inspires me is Nature and the possibility to help other people, and the pursuit of happiness with my family and my struggle to make dreams a reality for my family and I. I get inspiration and advice from other smart people online, not the ones mentioned on these questions.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  When I was 13 years old i became Amateur Radio Operator, around this time i first used Internet and meet with a Friend over the radio from USA, hes name was Jim Doyle, he was my English Teacher for years and we used the radio chats and also the Email and other internet resources to do online and distance teaching learning, this was my first experience learning at distance and was able to learn a lot, and had a lot of fun with Jim, while doing the online lessons.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I'd say, take it slow and let's go step by step, let's create an easy guide on how you will achieve your goals and be able to learn and get the job done in the best possible way.

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  Spending and sharing time with my family, Traveling, roadtrip, repairing and improving my VW Rabbit GTI from 1983, visiting new places with water involved, beach, rivers, waterfalls.
