About Ned

My name is Ned. I live and work in London, UK with my partner. I have lived abroad in the past, in China and Türkiye, and enjoy meeting people from different cultures. I enjoy cooking, and especially enjoy experimenting with different cuisines. I also enjoy the outdoors - particularly hiking and camping.

About the lesson

I have an excellent academic record in the humanities, with a First-Class degree in a humanities subject from a Russell Group university, A*AA at A Level (A* in English Literature), and a Distinction in my postgraduate degree in law. I am a legal professional, and my work involves drafting precisely-worded documents efficiently and to a high standard of quality. I am also a former English Second Language teacher. As such, I have very strong written English skills. I can assist with CV structuring and writing for your chosen field; reviewing and editing drafts of university or school coursework for spelling or grammar errors; and more general assistance with essay writing skills. I offer very structured and detailed feedback, providing detailed examples and reasoning. Clear communication is very important to me; you can be assured that my feedback will make sense and will help you progress. I can also assist with spoken English.
