About Luke
I’ve been playing guitar for over 10 years, and I’m passionate about passing on what I’ve learned. I graduated from Leeds Conservatoire with First-Class Honours in Folk with Production and continue to play in numerous bands around Leeds. I’ve also had the rewarding experience of teaching at the Music Bank in Knaresborough, which showed me how fulfilling it is to help others develop their skills and confidence in music. Seeing students progress is incredibly satisfying for me, and I want to help you experience that too!

Friendly Guitar Lessons for All Levels Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, I’m here to help you feel confident and excited about learning! My lessons are tailored to your goals and skill level, so you get the most out of each session. What to Expect from Our Lessons In my lessons, you’ll always feel comfortable and encouraged to progress at your own pace. We’ll focus on what you want to achieve, whether it’s learning your favourite songs, mastering new techniques, or diving into music theory. Together, we’ll build a fun, supportive environment where you can explore your creativity and grow as a musician. My Teaching Style I believe that learning should be enjoyable and motivating. We’ll work on real-world applications of guitar skills, focusing on practical playing and how to get the most enjoyment from your instrument. My approach is flexible—I can guide you through structured learning, or we can take a more relaxed, exploratory path if that suits your style better. Who I Teach I teach all ages and skill levels, from beginners to more advanced players. Whether you’re interested in folk, pop, rock, or something more niche, I’m happy to help you explore different genres and find your sound. First Lesson In our first lesson, we’ll chat about your goals and what you’d like to get out of learning the guitar. From there, I’ll design lessons around your specific interests, so you’re always working on something you enjoy. This first meeting is a great chance to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit for your learning style. Location & Availability I’m flexible with time so can be available for lessons during the week or on weekends, and we can meet either in-person or online, whichever is more convenient for you.
