About Cecile

I have taught French 2019-2022 in stage 5 and 5 at Finigan School of Distance Education Queanbeyan NSW2(concealed information)23 in stages 4-6 at Saint Clare's College Griffith ACT since 2020 I teach in holiday workshops and courses in the Alliance Française of Canberra ACT and since 2024, I am a tutor for DFAT at UNSW in ACT campus

About the lesson

After finding out about the learner's interests and motivation to learn French, I use this vital information to shape the course and assignments in collaboration with the learner(s). As I'm also a music teacher and research has demonstrated that music assists the memory, I aim to include as many musical activities as possible.

Cecile was a colleague of mine and is a wonderful teacher and native French speaker who is dedicated to all her students, going above and beyond. She always gets the best from them, regardless of their age or abilities. Her love for teaching French, music and all things nature is second to none.

Cecile and I were both partners in the Year 7 pastoral program, delivering the program together. In this crossover, I witnessed that Cecile is an organised and dedicated teacher who has a genuine connection with her students and who crafts creative and engaging activities for her language students. She is a very open communicator, is adaptable and easy to work with.
