About Zachary
Over the years, I've learned that learning the violin is not about playing perfectly from the beginning. It's about enjoying the process, staying patient, and improving a little with every lesson.
I have a Bachelor of Music and 8 years of teaching experience with young learners and adult students. Working with different students has taught me how important it is to adjust lessons to match each person's learning style.
I enjoy celebrating every milestone, whether it's playing a first song or mastering a new technique. My goal is to help students feel confident, enjoy making music, and keep improving at their own pace.

Learning with me means building strong violin skills in a calm and supportive environment. I take time to explain each new idea clearly, so you can understand it before moving on to something more challenging.
We'll practise posture, bow hold, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, vibrato, shifting, ear training, tone production, sight reading, music theory, and performance skills. We'll also work through difficult parts together until they feel smooth and comfortable to play.
Simple practice plans, regular lesson reviews, and clear goals help you improve from one lesson to the next. As your confidence grows, you'll enjoy playing more and hear steady improvement in your sound and technique.
