About Damiru

I have a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Sydney and I'm currently doing a Master of Research in quantitative finance. I also work in the corporate world as a quant and use AI tools every day for coding, research and analysis. I've been coding for over 10 years, so I understand how these tools actually work, not just how to click buttons. I'm patient, explain things in plain English, and adapt to your pace.

About the lesson

AI tools can save you hours every week, but most people only scratch the surface. I'll show you how to use them properly: what they're great at, where they go wrong, and how to get genuinely useful results.

What I can help with:

Getting started: setting up ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot, and understanding what each is best for

Prompting: how to ask the right way to get accurate, useful answers

For students: studying, understanding tough concepts, making practice questions, and researching (used responsibly, not for cheating)

For work: writing emails and reports, summarising documents, making presentations, and analysing data in Excel

For small businesses: marketing content, social media posts, customer replies, and basic automation

For teachers: lesson plans, worksheets and resources
Staying safe: privacy, checking facts, and spotting AI mistakes

Suitable for complete beginners through to professionals who want to go further. Older learners are very welcome, and we go at your pace. We'll work on your real tasks so you see the benefit straight away.
