  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

I teach Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Quran, Arabic, and Urdu. I completed my Islamic studies at Mazahir Uloom Saharanpur and qualified as an Alim and Mufti. I also studied Arabic literature at Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama. My interest in these subjects grew naturally through my studies, and over time I developed a particular love for Arabic and its literature. I now enjoy sharing this knowledge with students and making these subjects easier and more interesting for them.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

My teachers have been a major inspiration for me. They showed me that good teaching is not only about knowledge, but also about patience, understanding, and encouragement. Through my own teaching experience, I have found great satisfaction in helping students understand difficult concepts, improve their Arabic or Urdu, and become more confident. Seeing a student's progress is what motivates me most.
  • How does your work help society?

I believe education is one of the best ways to contribute to society. By teaching Arabic, Urdu, Quran, and Islamic Studies, I help students develop knowledge, language skills, discipline, and a better understanding of their cultural and religious heritage. My aim is to make traditional knowledge accessible and useful for students in their everyday lives.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

I am inspired by the great scholars and teachers of the Islamic tradition who combined knowledge with humility, sincerity, and good character. Imam Abu Hanifa is someone I particularly admire for his scholarship, reasoning, and dedication to knowledge. I am also grateful to the teachers who guided me throughout my own journey as an Alim and Mufti.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

I enjoy reading, especially Arabic literature, Islamic Studies, history, and books on personal development. I also like improving my Arabic and exploring better ways to teach. Outside academics, I enjoy fitness and going to the gym. I believe that continuing to learn and staying active helps me maintain a balanced life.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

I once taught a student who was hesitant to speak Arabic because they were afraid of making mistakes. I encouraged them to speak freely and explained that mistakes are a natural part of learning. With regular practice, the student became much more confident and started participating actively. It was a simple experience, but it reminded me that sometimes encouragement can be just as important as the lesson itself.
