About Josh
Pianist and composer for over 20 years and an educator for over 10 years, with a wealth of experience in classroom settings as well as private lessons, and a range of students from age 3 up to 93 (my oldest student!), from beginner to intermediate and advanced, I can help you learn piano no matter if you are just taking lessons for fun, or want to be a professional and everything else in between.

Unlike other piano lessons, I focus on the individual and build their lesson plan around them, rather than starting them off like every other student. In this approach, the student does not feel intimidated or pressured to play like Chopin or Beethoven or anyone. Instead, this gives them the confidence to freely be themselves and to play without fear (a component I have witnessed stifle even the most advanced pianist).
We will deeply explore the fundamentals as well as advanced techniques and have fun doing it!
If you make beats or write songs, I can help guide you through the entire process of composing and producing from creation to completion and mixing and mastering.
