About Ivy
I’m a native Cantonese and Mandarin speaker with a professional background in higher education. Having gone through the process of mastering English myself, I can tell you firsthand: memorizing endless word lists is a trap! You don't learn to speak by staring at a textbook—you learn by jumping into real-case scenarios, having a laugh, and practicing how people actually talk.
Because of my background in education, we will skip the boring, rigid drills. Instead, I break down tricky tones and Pinyin into simple steps that actually make sense, tailoring everything to how you learn best. Whether you're starting from scratch or wanting to finally chat with your family without panicking, we’ll keep things structured, practical, and completely stress-free.
