To teach by examining rap language and its rhetoric features; Knowledgeable about the history, culture and literary accumulation of the Arab world; To train students who can follow the literary, political, social and economic developments in the Arab world from written and audio sources and express what they think in written and oral ways. In the Department of Arabic Language and Rhetoric, courses are given mainly on Arabic Grammar, History of Arabic Literature, Translation from Arabic to Turkish and from Turkish to Arabic. Poetry and prose samples from various periods of Arabic literature are handled, essay writing exercises are made, and the student is tried to gain the habit of speaking. In addition to classical texts, modern Arabic texts are translated on various subjects, and Arabic terms and idioms are taught to the student.
