About Marlon
I'm a former college instructor, Air Force veteran, and MBA — and I've spent most of my career helping people communicate clearly. I've taught in classrooms, led teams in high-pressure situations, and built my own businesses, so I know exactly what it takes to speak and write with confidence. English helped me get where I am today, and I love helping others do the same. When I'm not teaching, I'm working on my businesses, learning something new, or spending time with family. I keep lessons practical, relaxed, and fun — because learning should feel like progress, not pressure.

How I Teach
I teach English the way you'll actually use it — not from a boring textbook. I spent 4 years as a college instructor, plus a career in the Air Force and an MBA, so I've been on both sides of the desk. Before we start, we talk about your goals: job interviews, work emails, everyday conversations, whatever you need. Then I build lessons around that.
How it works:
Real-life practice first — we use your actual situations
You talk more than I do — that's how you learn
Honest feedback, zero judgment — mistakes are how we grow
Clear goals, steady progress, no busywork
A typical 60-minute lesson:
Quick warm-up conversation (5–10 min)
One main focus — vocab, grammar, pronunciation, interview practice, or writing (25–30 min)
You practice it — role-plays, mock interviews, guided conversation (15–20 min)
Quick review + a small assignment to keep you going (5–10 min)
