About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is fundamentally learner-centric, drawing deeply from my 6 years of experience as a Table Tennis Coach where I successfully guided individuals with diverse learning styles and skill levels to achieve their best. I bring this same dedication, patience, and personalised methodology to teaching technical subjects. My Techniques and Teaching Methodology: My core belief is that understanding comes from doing and clear, relatable explanations. Here’s how I teach: 1. Personalised Learning Path: We start by understanding your current knowledge, goals, and learning preferences. Whether you're a university student tackling complex modules, a professional aiming to upskill, or a beginner, I tailor the content and pace to you. 2. Interactive & Engaging Sessions: Forget dry lectures! My lessons are interactive dialogues. I encourage questions, discussions, and active problem-solving. 3. Practical, Hands-On Application: We'll focus on real-world examples, coding exercises, and mini-projects (especially in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, and AWS). This helps solidify concepts and build practical skills you can use. 4. Clear Explanations & Concept Breakdown: I excel at breaking down complex topics into digestible, understandable parts, using analogies and clear language – a skill honed through years of coaching. 5. Constructive Feedback & Goal Reinforcement: Just as in coaching, I provide regular, actionable feedback to help you identify strengths and areas for improvement, keeping you motivated and on track towards your goals. 6. My Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: While my formal qualifications include being an MSc Data Science student (1st Expected) at the University of Manchester and my experience as an AI & Machine Learning Engineer at startups, my tutoring effectiveness stems directly from my 6 years as a coach.
