About Karen

Hello! I'm an educator and the founder of Khori Learning. My passion is helping students overcome language barriers through personalized, structured, and deeply human teaching. I fully understand how challenging it can be to grapple with French grammar and pronunciation when taught rigidly.

My advantage as a non-native teacher is that I have firsthand knowledge of the path to mastering the language: I know exactly where a Spanish student goes wrong and how to explain it to them step by step in a simple way. I help high school students pass exams and improve their grades, as well as adults who want to become more fluent.

I don't promise magical results without effort, but I do promise 100% dedication, personalized support, and an environment where you always feel comfortable asking questions and learning.

With the Khori Learning methodology, we eliminate the pressure of the traditional classroom. Here, mistakes aren't failures: they're the primary tool for understanding the language and progressing.

Specialized in the Spanish school curriculum: Reinforcement adapted to the ESO and Bachillerato content, helping you understand the grammar you learn in school but applied practically.

Support from a non-native specialist: Having learned French to an advanced level, I perfectly understand the perspective of the Spanish-speaking student, where the blockage points are, and how to explain them logically.

Priority oral practice: You work on pronunciation and conversation from day one to overcome shyness and speak fluently.

Warm-up and Oral Fluency (10 min): Relaxed chat to warm up pronunciation and overcome fear of speaking.

Main Block (35 min): School Option / Exams: Reinforcement of high school curriculum, reading/listening comprehension, writing, and exam strategies.
Conversational Option: Real-life scenarios, practical vocabulary, debates, and French culture.

Closing and Action Plan (15 min): Personalized feedback, addressing key grammar questions, and setting clear objectives for the next class.
