About Rena
I am a native Japanese speaker and I also speak English and German.
I have over 9 years of experience teaching Japanese and have taught more than 300 students from different backgrounds.
I have lived in Germany, Switzerland, Thailand, and the United States, and I am currently based in Australia.
I studied Hotel and Event Management at a university in Switzerland and worked in hotels in several countries, which allowed me to interact with people from many cultures. I truly enjoy learning about different cultures and connecting with people from around the world.

For beginners:
We focus on understanding grammar structures, so you can build your own sentences. Then we practice using them in real conversations.
For intermediate learners:
We focus on conversation practice, review unclear points, and work on subtle nuances and natural expressions until you truly understand and can use them confidently.
My goal is to help you think in Japanese, create your own sentences, and speak naturally — whether for daily life, travel, or communication with native speakers.
All lessons are 1-on-1 and fully tailored to your level and goals.
