About Marin
My teaching methodology for guitar focuses on motivating students to enjoy learning while building their skills step by step. I believe motivation is key to progress, so I create lessons that are fun, engaging, and tailored to each student’s level and interests. By combining clear guidance with encouragement, I help students develop confidence in their abilities and stay inspired throughout their musical journey.
I use real-life examples and case studies from different music styles to make lessons practical and relatable. This approach helps students understand how techniques, theory, and improvisation are applied in real music. I also emphasize integrity and accountability, encouraging students to take responsibility for their practice and progress while developing discipline and focus.
Creativity is central to my teaching. I guide students to experiment with different styles, compose their own music, and explore new techniques. Besides guitar, I also teach relevant subjects such as music theory, ear training, and composition to give students a well-rounded understanding. My goal is to nurture confident, skilled, and creative musicians who enjoy learning and can express themselves through music.

With over 6 years of experience teaching guitar, I am passionate about helping students from school to college level unlock their musical potential. I believe every student has a unique way of learning, so I tailor my lessons to suit their individual needs and interests. My teaching covers various aspects of guitar playing, including technique, improvisation, theory, composition, beat-making, and ear training.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of guiding students to not only master songs but also develop a deep understanding of music. Many of my students have gone on to perform, compose, and explore their own musical paths with confidence. I focus on connecting theory with practice to ensure students see the value in each lesson.
I am committed to making every lesson enjoyable and inspiring, helping students grow as musicians while also developing skills that benefit them beyond music.
