About Rastin

Hi, I'm Rastin, a Computer Science student at King's College London with a passion for programming and problem-solving. Having explored programming myself, I understand how confusing it can feel when you're first learning to code. I want to help others overcome those challenges by making Java easier to understand, building strong foundations and showing how programming concepts work in practice. I'm patient, approachable and happy to explain things in different ways until they make sense. My aim is to help every student become a more confident, independent programmer.

About the lesson

Want to learn Java without feeling overwhelmed? As a Computer Science student at King's College London, I'll help you understand programming step by step through clear explanations, practical examples and hands-on exercises. Whether you're starting from scratch or struggling with different concepts, we'll build your skills and confidence together at a pace that suits you. My goal is to help you understand not just how to write code, but why it works!

We've only recently met, but he's a patient and encouraging Java tutor who explains things in a way that actually makes sense. He helped me understand loops and debug my project when I was stuck in my first assignment. I'd recommend him to anyone learning Java, especially beginners.
