About Maria
Hi! I’m Maria, your instructor. I am passionate about teaching and sharing concepts and lessons that will help propel each student’s goals! I understand the needs of online learning not only as an instructor, but as a parent that utilizes online education. So it’s important to me that my lessons are parent-approved and engaging for the student. I do teach all age ranges, my current students ages range from 7 years old to adults. I have over 20 years of experience in tutoring for students and helping bridge them to their own success and goals. I am fully bilingual in Japanese and English, originally from Tokyo, Japan, currently residing in the U.S. I look forward to meeting you and assisting with your journey.

Instructed by a completely bilingual Japanese instructor, each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goal. This curriculum caters to each student’s needs in helping them develop their language skill, while helping them have deeper cultural understanding of Japan to gain a more intuitive knowledge of the language. Teaching and sharing about cultural norm is important and will help you intuitively respond, even if you couldn’t figure out the exact words to express something.
