About Emma

I have a degree in Naturopathy from Endeavour College in Sydney Australia and a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition from IHN Vancouver Canada. In line with the requirements of my profession, I complete Continuing Education units each year and frequently attend industry seminars. My knowledge base encompasses nutrition, herbal medicine, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology and mind-body connection. My particular areas of interest are the use of herbal medicine and the optimisation of the brain and nervous system.

About the lesson

I am here to support you in broadening your knowledge in the fields of naturopathic health, nutrition and herbal medicine! Whether you are currently navigating your own health challenges, studying to be a health practitioner or simply curious about how to better support your body, I will answer your questions, foster discussion and provide you with content that is relevant and interesting to you. Knowledge in this area is useful whether you would like to learn for your own interest, or to improve the health of your family and friends.

I was a school teacher for 6 years, so I am used to meeting students where they are at and adapting how I teach accordingly. My background in education serves me well, and many nutrition colleagues have commented on how effective I am at breaking down complex concepts to make them as easy as possible to understand. What's more, I absolutely love teaching, and I am excited whenever I get to share what I am passionate about!
