About Diego

Hello, nice to meet you!
I'm Diego, I've been making music for 20 years and, for 15, I've been sharing what I know.

As a teenager, I discovered my love for music and soon realized that listening to it wasn't enough: I had to play it. That's how, at the age of 15, my parents gave me my first guitar. Several years later, I decided to pursue music professionally: in 2015, I entered the Escuela Superior de Música de Colonia Caroya and, in 2019, I graduated as Técnico Superior Instrumentista, with a Specialty in Guitar.

I'm currently the guitar and ukulele teacher in the community courses at the Casa de la Historia y la Cultura del Bicentenario Martha Canale and the guitar teacher for the "El Zorzal" Youth Orchestra. Over the years, I have been part of bands such as Moby Dick (fusion), Arca Navis (alternative rock) and Cynimus (indie rock), wher I learned a lot from these experiences and, above all, made good friends. Currently I am part of projects such as Planetas Errantes (indie pop) and Grillo Negro (alternative Latin American folklore).

I am convinced that you have to follow your dreams, wherever they take you. And if your dream is to be able to express on your instrument what you have in your head , I hope to be able to help you on your way!

About the lesson

If you've made it this far, congratulations! It's not easy to make the decision to learn more about what you like. I love to see that in my students and it's something I'm going to support you with.
If you're starting from scratch, don't worry! We're going to look at the basics so that in no time you'll have the foundation to make the music you love.
And if you are a little more advanced, we will work on the concepts that will allow you to reach the next level.

Conocí a Diego por su banda de musica. Y en 2024 empecé a tomar clases de guitarra, es muy buen profesor, muy objetivo y claro para explicar, presta atención a detalles de la técnica que hacen la diferencia a la hora de tocar. Gran músico!

Pone mucha dedicación y atención en cada alumno, sobre todo en cuestiones de técnica, lo que se nota muchísimo cuando ves o escuchás a sus alumnos tocar. Tiene mucha paciencia y se ha adaptado a alumnos de todas las edades, buscando la manera adecuada de transmitir sus conocimientos a cada uno de ellos. Además les da mucha confianza y seguridad, lo que es muy necesario cuando uno está aprendiendo algo.
