About Umesh

I am a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of professional experience (including in Big 4) in Indirect Tax and GST, with extensive exposure to GST advisory, compliance, audits, assessments, departmental proceedings, notices, and litigation.

Over the course of my career, I have worked on a wide range of real-world GST issues and have seen first-hand where businesses and professionals typically face difficulties. My objective is to bring that practical experience into my training.

I believe GST is best understood by connecting the law with its practical application. Instead of simply going through sections and provisions, I use practical scenarios, case studies, and real-life business situations to explain how GST works and how issues should be approached.
